Oak Park, died Oct. 14. Sur-
vived by his wife, Ida; two
daughters, Mrs. Harry (Shir-
ley) Markowitz and Mrs.
Bernard (Ruth) Mintz; ten
grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.

CHARLES BURNS, 82, of
Southfield, died Oct. 20. Sur-
vived by his wife, Ann; a son,
Ronald of Flint; a daughter,
Mrs. David (Rita) Eisman;
two sisters, Mrs. Molly
Greenberg of Jenkintown,
Pa., and Mrs. Lou (Mary)
Levine of Philadelphia, Pa.:
and two grandchildren.

RITA KATZMAN, 48, of
Southfield, died Oct. 15. Sur-
vived by her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Samuel (Anne) Katzman
of Omaha, Neb.; a brother,
William of Omaha; nieces
and nephews.

FANNIE KLEIMAN, 77,
died Oct. 17. She leaves her
husband, Louis; a son,
Seymour; and three
grandchildren.

JANET OLLESHEIMER,
86, died Oct. 21. She leaves a
daughter, Mrs. Robert (Carol)
Kozlow; and two
grandchildren.

IDA RONIS, 90, of Oak
Park, died Oct. 16. Survived
by a son, David; two daugh-
ters, Mrs. Victor (Alice) Ross
and Mrs. Louis (Faye) Starr;
two brothers, W.A. Goldberg
of East Lansing and Arthur;
15 grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren.

JOSEPH SHEKTER, 83,
formerly of Oak .Park, died
Oct. 12 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Survived by a son, Dr. Mur-
ray A. of Israel; five
grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren. Inter-
ment Israel.

LOUIS SHERMAN, 71, of
Oak Park, died Oct. 16. Sur-
vived by a son, Jeffrey of
Garden Grove, Calif.; a
daughter, Arlene of Roches-
ter, Mich.; two brothers,
Robert S. and Martin; a sis-
ter, Mrs. Sam (Rose)
Goldberg; and two
grandchildren.

ESTHER S. SILVERMAN,
66, died Oct. 18. She leaves
her husband, Samuel; two
daughters, Mrs. Randall
(Cynthia) Wokas and Nancy;
two brothers, Dr. Jack Zonder
and Arthur Zonder of
California; a sister, Mrs. Isa-
dore (Edith) Averbuch; and
two grandsons.

JOSEPH WEISBLATT, 84,
of Southfield, died Oct. 14.
Survived by a daughter, Au-
drey Millman.

SUSAN ZELDA WOLFE,
40, former Detroiter of Hous-
ton, Tex., died Oct. 12. Sur-
vived by her husband, Myron;
a son, Loren; and a daughter,
Alisa. Interment Houston.

ALLEN DAVID YAFFE,
79, of Oak Park, died Oct. 21.
Survived by his wife, Kat-
hryne; a daughter, Mrs. Joel
(Diane) Fink; a brother, Ed-
ward of Hollywood, Calif.; a
sister, Mrs. Sara Cohen of
Downsview, Ont.; and three
grandchildren.

Dr. M. Kleiman

Dr. Michael Kleiman, a
resident in anesthesiology at
Sinai Hospital, died Oct. 17
at age 27.
A native Detroiter, Dr.
Kleiman was graduated in
1981 from Michigan State
University. He was
graduated in 1985 from
MSU's College of Human
Medicine. He was a member
of Temple Beth El.
He leaves his wife, Susan
Binder Kleiman; his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Seymour (Es-
telle) Kleiman; a sister,
Debra Kleiman Walter; and
his grandfather, Louis
Kleiman.

Louis Ellenbogen

Louis Ellenbogen, a retired
businessman, died Oct. 14 at
age 102.
Born in Austria, Mr. El- .
lenbogen was self-employed.
He had owned a burlap bag
business. He was a founding
member of the former Cong.
Beth Abraham and was a
president of the synagogue
for 20 years. He was named
an honorary president for life
by the congregation.
Mr. Ellenbogen leaves a
son, Max; two daughters,
Mrs. Albert (Sally) Clasky
and Mrs. Max (Rose)
Klayman; seven
grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.

Abraham Rozanoff

Abraham Rozanoff, a
member of the Detroit Feder --
ation of Musicians for 50
years, died Oct. 14 at age 68.
A former Detroiter, Mr.
Rozanoff resided in Cassel-
berry, Fla., at the time of his
death. He owned and oper-
ated Clawson Shoe Store in
Clawson for 27 years.
He is survived by his wife,
Evelyn; a son, Dr. Gerald of
Portage, Mich.; a daughter,
Anita of New York City; and
two grandsons.

Moses Asch

New York — Moses Asch;
founder of Folkways RecordS
and son of novelist Sholem
Asch, died Oct. 19 at age 81.
