Having a singles party? Is there a singles issue
that needs probing? The Jewish News would like to
hear about it. Beginning Oct. 24, The Jewish News will
kick off its dynamic new singles section, Singles Life.

membership, the charter
membership, entitles the
member to an engraved
plaque on the charter board,
either honoring or
memorializing loved ones.

tions assure the acquisition
and maintenance of historical
materials for study and pro-
vide for creative programm-
ing that will ensure the
preservation of the memory
and lessons of the Holocaust.

A Salute to Black Women
Writers will be presented by
the Southfield Public Library
on Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. in the
Marcotte Room of the South-
field Public Library. Admis-
sion is free.
A storytelling seminar will
be held Nov. 15 at Southfield
Public Library. Story selec-
tion, mastery, and perform-
ance will be the topics of this
full-day seminar appropriate
for beginning and experi-
enced storytellers, teachers,
librarians and parents.
