Seniors Will Hear
A Book Review

Frances Weinberg will re-
view Enter Talking by Joan
Rivers at 11 a.m. Tuesday in
room 4 of the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Branch of the Jewish
Community Center, spon-
sored by the senior adult de-
partment.
Charles Driker will read
short stories in Yiddish at
12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the
JPM library.
At 1 pm. Tuesday, the first
program in the Sinai Hospi-
tal lecture series will take
place in the assembly hall.
Dr. Henry Brystowski will
discuss "Effective Ways of
Talking to Your Doctor." The
lecture will be followed by a
workshop at 1 p.m. Thursday
in the assembly hall, con-
ducted by Barbara Glas-
sheim.
Part II of the film, Show-
boat, will be shown at 2 p.m.
Tuesday in the JPM assem-
bly hall.
On Thursday at 10:45 a.m.,
Vivian Stollman will con-
tinue the Music Lovers Hour
in room 15 of the JPM
branch.
The Erev Shabbos program
will take place at 12:30 p.m.
Oct. 24 in Jaffe Hall of the
JPM branch. Marcie Shul-
man, cantorial soloist, will
offer Shabbat and holiday
melodies. At 1:30 p.m. Oct.
24 in room 15, Rozanne Sed-
lar will continue her support
group on hearing, vision and
memory changes.

The senior adult depart-
ment of the Jewish Commu-
nity Center announces the
creation of "Hear Ye, Hear
Ye," a program for people
with hearing problems.
The Senior Citizen Division
of the Deaf, Hearing, and
Speech Center will conduct a
series of workshops for the
hearing impaired. The work-
shops will deal with tech-
niques and skills important
to the individual's daily
maintenance and indepen-
dence.
All workshops will be held
at 1:30 p.m. in room 4 of the
Jimmy Prentis Morris
Branch on Wednesdays until
Dec. 17. Senior adults and
family members are welcome
free of charge. For informa-
