wear, the Israel Bond

Show, comprised of the de-
signs of 13 key Israeli man-
ufacturers and designers, will
be held at Cong. Shaarey
Zedek on Oct. 29 at noon.
In addition, for the first
time, sportwear-related sepa-
rates by American designer
Liz Claiborne, which are
being manufactured in Israel,
are included in the show.
Among the couturier de-
signers are Gideon Oberson
and Tamara Jones. Some of
the designers are "sabras" or
native Israelis. Others are
immigrants from the more
than 72 countries which have
settled in Israel since its in-
dependence in 1948.
Other prominent designers
include Edna Ross, Gingette,
Gottex, Niba for 16 Plus,
Rikma, Tadmor, Nilly Tvig,
Gershon Bram and Maquette.
The show, an annual event,
will be produced, staged and
accessorized, for the third
consecutive year, by North-
land Center. Northland will
also provide the show with a ,
large collection of the latest
in American designers' fash-
ions culled from several of
the center's major stores and
boutiques.
Admission to the show and
luncheon will be by a 1986
minimum purchase of $500 in
State of Israel securities.

The show is currently tour-
ing 60 major North American
