The achievements of Jewish women in the profes- sional and volunteer worlds will be showcased at the forum, which will feature award-winning actress Susan Strasberg and Jacqueline Levine national community leader. In addition to their ac- counts of how they achieved success, and the role that their Judaism played in it, the two women will be inter- viewed by Debra Silberstein, co-anchor of WDIV-TV's weekend evening newscasts. Strasberg began her Broadway career in A Diary of Anne Frank and has since appeared in many films, tele- vision shows and plays. She currently works with the Na- tional Institute on the Holocaust, which is creating the Anne Frank House in Philadelphia. Levine is a former chair- man of the National Jewish Community Relations Advi- sory Council and a board member of the Council of Jewish Federations. She has received many awards from her community — from the National Conference on Soviet Jewry, of which she is a vice president, and the American Jewish Congress, among others. When not at the anchor desk, Silberstein is a reporter for WDIV-TV. She holds a B.A. in telecommunications from Michigan State Univer- sity and studied international politics at the University of London. Shelby Tauber is chairman of Institute Day. Joyce Sher- man and Sharon Taylor are associate chairmen, and Dul- cie Rosenfeld is adviser. Marian Kantor is a vice president of the Women's Di- vision, and Marlene Borman is president.
