JPM Registration Open
For Fitness Class Series
Registration is being taken
at the Jimmy Prentis Morris
Branch of the Jewish Corn-
munity Center for a variety
of fitness classes at the JPM,
beginning Nov. 21.
Family Gym will be held at
1:30 p.m. Sundays and 6 p.m.
Tuesdays for persons age 5
and up. There is a fee for
non-members.
Creative sports and games
for pre-schoolers will be held
at 11 a.m. Tuesdays in the
JPM gym. There is a fee.
Tumbling Tots will be held
at 11:15 a.m. Thursdays.
There is a fee.
Beginners weights and
body tone (no aerobics) will
be at 9:30 a.m. Mondays.
There is a fee.
Non-impact aerobics will be
at 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays and
Thursdays. There is a fee.
Jeffrey Davidson will con-
duct a karate class at 5 p.m.
Tuesdays. There is a fee.
Mini sports are played at
4:15 p.m. Mondays. There is
a charge.
Co-ed volleyball, under the
direction of Ken Greene, will
take place at 8 p.m. Mondays
in the JPM gym. There is a
nominal fee for the drop-in
game.
Babysitting for co-ed fit-
ness classes at the Morris
Branch will be available at
6:30 p.m. Mondays and Wed-
nesdays.

The department of youth
activities of the United
Synagogue of America an-
nounces the publication of its
new songbook titled B'Kol
Echad, In One Voice, edited
by former Detroiter Cantor
Jeffrey Shiovitz of Temple
Beth Ahm in Aberdeen, N.
Jersey.
B'Kol Echad, is a compila-
tion of Hebrew songs, Shab-
bat zemirot and Israeli songs.
It also contains Sabbath
blessing, the Grace After
Meals and the Sheva
B'rachot. The book contains
Hebrew text, English transla-
tion and English translitera-
tion.
Cantor Shiovitz is the son
of Shirley and Harry Shiovitz
of Southfield.
