Com- munications Minister Amnon Rubinstein said the report originated with a dubious character quoting another dubious character. The Israeli media reported that the person Rubinstein referred to described himself as Prof. Mordechai Vananu, who is neither a professor nor a scientist but a junior techni- cian employed at the Dimona nuclear research center.
