Reinvested Bonds
Get Extra Bonus

As much as 14 months ad-
vance interest will be paid to
holders of Israel Bonds who
reinvest them early in new
Israel Bond securities, it was
announced by Alice Ross, Is-
rael Bond reinvestment
chairman.
The government of Israel
will permit holders of Bonds
purchased in 1971 and 1972
who reinvest with additional
funds toward the purchase of
a new Israel security to re-
ceive this advance interest,
she said.
For example, holders of a
$100 Bond with a 1987
maturity value of $180 can
use it now to purchase a $250
State of Israel Certificate by
only adding $70.
In addition, maturing
Bonds may be used to rein-
vest in any of the other in-
struments offered by the
Bond organization.
