Alice Feldman, founder of
Livernois-Davidson Florists
in 1929, died Sept. 27 at age
92.
Born in Russia, Mrs.
Feldman was a member of
the National Council of
Jewish Women. Naamat USA
(formerly Pioneer Women),
Jewish National Fund and
was active in the Allied
Jewish Campaign.
She leaves two sons, Irvin
W. of Boca Raton, Fla., and
Dr. Robert; two daughters,
Mrs. Joseph (Blanche) Haas
of Sunrise, Fla., and Rhoda
Shuman; two sisters, Pauline
Yager and Mary S. Cohan; 18
grandchildren and 28 great-
grandchildren.

teacher in the Detroit Public
Schools for 30 years, died
Sept. 28 at age 74.
Born in Tarrytown, N.Y.,
Mrs. Leichtman was
graduated from the Univer-
sity of Michigan at age 19.
She was a past president of
Hadassah and a member of
Adat Shalom Synagogue.
She is survived by two
sons, Martin of Topeka, Kan.,
and Dr. David; a daughter,
Sandra of Baltimore, Md.; a
brother, James Siegel; three
sisters, Josephine Segal,
Irene Panush and Elsie
Jacobs; and five grand-
children.

Myrtle Grace Saperstein
Prescott, a former Detroit lib-
rarian, died Sept. 21 in New
York City.
A resident of New York
City, Mrs. Prescott was for
many years librarian at
Cong. Shaarey Zedek and at
Adat Shalom Synagogue.
She is survived by her hus-
band, Joseph; a daughter,
Eleanor; and one grandson.

New York (JTA) — The
Conference on Jewish Mate-
rial Claims Against Germany
(Claims Conference) issued a
reminder to Jewish victims of
Nazi persecution who worked
as forced laborers in factories
of Dynamit-Nobel or Ver-
wertchemie, that the deadline
for the registration of claims
is Dec. 31, 1986. Claims are
to be filed with Compensation
Treuhand, Gruneburgweg
119, 6000 Frankfurt, West
Germany. They should con-
tain factual information con-
cerning the time, place, and
circumstances surrounding
forced labor for Dynamit-
Nobel or Verwertchemie.
