Women Kick Off Annual Fund Drive The B'nai B'rith Women's Council of Metropolitan De- troit has launched its Youth and Services Appeal Cam- paign. Goal for the annual fund drive is $150,000. The special gifts portion of the campaign is highlighted by a luncheon. Lucille Gersten, Council president, has appointed the following people to roles in the fund-raising drive: Soralee Broida, fund-raising chairman; Eadie Albion, ad- viser; Bobbie Levine, special gifts chairman; Gloria Ellis, luncheon chairman; and Emily Rogow, special events. The annual campaign bene- fits the youth programs served by the international women's organization, includ- ing the Children's Home in Israel, a residential treat- ment center for boys which is totally financed by B'nai B'rith Women in cooperation with the State of Israel. The program has been amodel for institutional care. The Youth and Services Appeal also supports the B'nai B'rith Youth Organiza- tion, the largest teen-age group of its kind, as well as Hillel Foundations on more than 300 campuses across the country. Proceeds also go to the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith, as well as the women's special projects such as the Arab-Israeli under- standing program.
