Offers Workshops

Two workshops on writing
and poetics are offered by the
Detroit Institute of Arts, de-
partment of education.
"The Soup and the Clouds:
The Prose Poem Revisited,"
Jim Warless, instructor, will
meet 10:30 a.m. Sundays, be-
ginning Oct. 12.
"Epistrophy: Jazz and
American Writing Since
1945," Kofi Natambu, in-
structor, will meet at 1 p.m.
Saturdays, beginning Oct. 11.
