The center is the liaison between the federal government and the Reform Jewish movement. He is also an attorney and an ad- junct professor in comparat- `- ive Jewish and American law at Georgetown University Law School. Rabbi Saperstein has ap- r peared on a number of net- work television news and talk shows. His articles have appeared in major general - and Jewish periodicals. Since coming to Washing- ton, he has been active in several interreligious coali- tions dealing with issues as diverse as Israel, civil rights, energy and the environment, abortion rights and nuclear disarmament.
