his eason CARLA JEAN SCHWARTZ Special to The Jewish News hree hundred patrons attended the annual fall fashion show and luncheon last week at Tam-O-Shanter Country Club in West Bloomfield. Co-chairwomen Alvira Perlman and Bette Shapiro planned a delicious meal, while fashion consultant Leah Marx produced a terrific show. Leah Marx presented a complete and varied wardrobe for the hours from dawn until dusk. Models first appeared in nightgowns, lounging outfits and robes from Leger's Lingerie in West Bloomfield. They were followed by eye-catching afternoon leathers and suedes, and finally, exquisite evening clothes, all from Naomi's on the Boardwalk in West Bloomfield. Some spectacular fashions from Naomi's included gold and silver mesh evening gowns by Anthony Ferrara and exclusive dresses made in the United States for Naomi. One private label evening gown had a bronze, strapless bodice with a black satin skirt detailed with bronze flowers and rhinestones, but its outstanding feature was the removable, puffed sleeves. Spectacular accents were provided by Tapper's Jewelry in Southfield. Owner Steven Tapper brought $30,000 worth of diamonds, pearls and other gems for the Tam show. Men's clothes were from Kosins, eyewear from D.O.C. Optique, hairstyles from Mariomax, and makeup by Tamara. 111 TT ■ Him: cranberry outfit piped in navy.
