The Detroit contingent is part of a group of 56 Ameri- cans, ages 18-24, participat- ing in the program, sponsored by the Council of Jewish Federations. Local funding came from the Jewish Wel- fare Federation, in coopera- tion with the Jewish Agency for Israel.
