Detroit Service Group

W

hen the Jewish Welfare Federation was
established in 1926, the Detroit Service Group
was created to run the Allied Jewish Campaign.

As the year-round organization of Campaign
volunteers, the DSG has helped our community
achieve new heights in fund raising. This year,
the Detroit Service Group was restructured to
play an active part in the Federated
Endowment Fund.

In appreciation for their many hours of service,
Campaign volunteers are invited to an annual
recognition event —a day of recreation and an
awards dinner. At this year's 37th Detroit
Service Group Stag Day, honorees were the
past chairmen of the Allied Jewish Campaign.
