Abba Eban To Speak at U-M The College of Literature, Science, and the Arts at the University of Michigan will inaugurate a new annual forum dedicated to exploring Jewish presence and its impact on civilization, made possible through a gift of the Shirley and William R. Fleischer Foundation. Member of Knes- set Abba Eban will present the inaugural address. He will speak on "Jewish Presence in Civilization: A Historical Overview," 8 p.m. Oct. 15, in Rackham Lecture Hall. The lecture will be followed on Oct. 16 by a roundtable dis- cussion on "Jewish Presence in Civilization: A Multidiscipli- nary Approach," at 8 p.m. at the Kuenzel Room in the Michigan Union. The partici- pants in this roundtable dis- cussion will be: Profs.
