that marked the life of Fred M. Butzel, this
year's Butzel Awardee is a longtime leader of
Jewish communal and Detroit civic life.
David Handleman receives Federation's high-
est honor in recognition of his efforts on behalf
of the Allied Jewish Campaign, United Jewish
Charities, United Foundation, Detroit Sympho-
ny Orchestra and many other vital causes that
enrich the lives of our people everywhere.
