Drive For Annual Affair

The appointment of a cam-
paign cabinet to plan and
promote the 53rd annual Bal-
four Celebration was an-
nounced by Irving Laker,
general chairman of the Bal-
four Celebration committee.
Sponsored by Metro Detroit
ZOA, the Balfour campaign
will culminate in a celebra-
tion and concert on Nov. 2 at
Ford Auditorium.
Philip Slomovitz, editor
emeritus of The Jewish News,
is honorary chairman.
