A growing office is usually a sign of a
growing, healthy business. However, if
you've got today's staff working in yester-
day's office, you might end up with over-
crowding, poor worker morale and loss of
productivity.

Hank Greenberg, and coming
from him, it meant a lot."
Last DeCember, Gehringer
appeared in place of Green-
berg at the ceremonies in-
ducting Hank into the Jewish
Sports Hall of Fame at the
West Bloomfield JCC. Both
players are enshrined in
baseball's Hall of Fame in
Cooperstown, N.Y.
Early in Greenberg's
career, Flusty recalled, "he
used to get sarcastic remarks
from certain people. But
when they got to know him,
they actually fell in love with
him, because he was a very
likeable guy. But if your
name was Greenberg, or
Ginsberg or Borenstein, or
anything like that, those
days, you were among foot-
ball players or professionals
or anybody, somebody was
snotty, had to make a dirty
remark or something. But he
made damn sure (Greenberg)
was out-numbered, because
they wouldn't say that face-
to-face in front of Hank ...
But before you knew it, there
was five, six men who would
stick up, with Hank, and be-
fore you knew it, you knew
he had friends."
Goldberg remembered how
Greenberg handled hecklers
from the stands. "He handled
it very good. A lot better
than, let's say, a guy like I
could ... They'd heckle him;
he went out and got a few
hits. They stopped heckling
him."
Despite his great talent,
nberg worked to polish
his craft, said Flusty. "He'd
come out to the ballpark,
every day, practice for two
hours before the game
started, because he wasn't a
natural ballplayer. But he
worked at it so hard. As an
outfielder, he was an average
outfielder, - that's all. First
base, he was a good first
baseman because he was six-
foot-four, so they figured that
was the best place for him. Of
course, his ability was in his
hitting. He was a natural hit-
ter. But he would practice all
the time, and that's why he
had a good average when he
retired: .313 batting average,
he had 331 home runs al-
together. Four to five years

your office running smoothly as your busi-
ness grows.
