A dvertising has long used handsome faces and beautiful bodies to help sell a product. Recently, though, a number of print ads have appeared that do more than show a pretty profile. Published in national magazines are ads that use sexuality — either shockingly blatant or provocatively subtle. In a Guess jeans ad, for example, a young woman who looks to be in her teens is slung across a man's shoulder, her hands clenched into tight fists. In an ad for Calvin Klein's fragrance, Obsession, several nude bodies are entwined, with various parts of their anatomy exposed.
