agenda. Pat Abersold, the
hairdresser/manager of the
salon suggested that since my
face is round I should rid my
somewhat short hair of the bulk
and add height to the top of my
head to give my face an
elongated, oval appearance. She
designed the cut to fit in with the
new fall hairstyles.
"The hair for fall will see spiky
bangs (not straight) and blunt
cuts. It will fall free, in a layered,
soft, feminine look. We will also
see a more contemporary
blending of the age groups with
less emphasis on the more
dramatic styles that we have

shape of my face.
Again, the makeup was in line
with the upcoming fall
predictions. Susan foresees "a
more natural, barely-there look
by using colors of softer, muted
tones. And as we saw from this
past spring, there will be a
carryover of the variety of colored
mascara — blue, green, purple,
etc."
At both the salon and the spa, I
saw quite a few men being cared
for. I asked Marcia Finkelstein at
Mira Linder about that. "We
have regular men clients who
receive weekly messages, body
facials, whirlpools, manicures,
