Remember the following points
when you mix and match col-
ored hosiery and your outfit:
When buying colored hosiery,
pick one shade that matches
and one that contrasts with the
main colors in your wardrobe.
When building either a con-
trasting or complementary
look, match your colored
hosiery to your top, your skirt
or a color in your skirt pattern,
or to a major accessory. Your
shoes should be the same col-
or as your hose, or one of the
dominant colors in the outfit.
Your hosiery and clothes col-
ors should match. When buy-
ing hosiery you should, if
possible, carry swatches of
your clothes, or the clothes

Major color groups for
hosiery are:
Blues, from pales to greener
shades, like teal, to classic
navy to electric shades. They
work well with greys, other
blues, camel, tan, burgundy,

Berries, from warm, deep
reds, wines, purples, russets to
browns. Berries go with
