Milan. Two worlds
of style with the same news for
fall '86. Easy wearability. A
silhouette with a round and
feminine theme. Graceful
shapes, some body-hugging
and others softly flaring. The
mood: simple, pure and
elegant.
The favorite daytime fabric is
a knit, from cashmere to wool
jersey. Knits have a universal
appeal with their light weight
and ability to travel. They make
the transition from day into
evening. Some knits have
metallic threads woven in the
fabric for an evening out.
Velvet stars for evening. The
black velvet dress — long or
short — returns this season.
Even coats, jackets and
dresses are trimmed in velvet.

combination of textures, of
