At 6:30 p.m. Sept. 12, there will be a Torah scroll proces- sion beginning at the Jimmy Prentis Morris Branch of the Jewish Community Center to the synagogue, conducted by Rabbi Stanley M. Rosenbaum and Cantor Louis Klein. Long-time members of the synagogue _will carry the Sif- rei Torah. Families can purchase small facsimile Torah scrolls for children to carry in the procession. Following 7:15 p.m. services, there will be a congregational Shabbat dinner at 8 p.m. An Oneg Shabbat will follow, with singing led by Cantor Klein. Advance reservations are necessary for the dinner. At Sept. 13 Shabbat morn- ing services, Rabbi Yaakov G. Rosenberg, vice chancellor of the Jewish Tehological Seminary, will give the guest sermon. A kiddush luncheon will follow at noon, when Rabbi Rosenberg will speak. At 8:30 p.m. that day, there will be a wine and cheese party at the synagogue. A multi-media presentation and a display of memorabilia will Rabbi Yaakou Rosenberg highlight the evening. Ad- vance reservations are re- quired, and members in good standing will be admitted free of charge. A congregational breakfast will be served at 10 a.m. Sept. 14.
