Bonds-Golda Meir Club "Sap-
phires and Sables" brunch,
11:30 a.m. Sept. 16, in the
Bloomfield Hills home of
Meryl Podolsky.
The brunch will be geared
toward top-level purchases of
investment securities offered
by the State of Israel Bond
Organization through its
women's division.
The Golda Meir Club is
comprised of women through-
out the United States and
Canada who make indepen-
dent purchases of Israel
Bonds on the level of $5,000
or more.
Pontiac Art Center
To Present Events
The Pontiac Art Center
will present three upcoming
events. Together with the
_ atin Affairs office of the city
of Pontiac, they will host a
trip to the Detroit Institute of
Arts. On Sept. 6 at 11 a.m.
the bus will leave the art
center and travel to the DIA.
On Sept. 27, a bus will
leave the art center at 12:30
.m. to see the play Dream-
irls. There is a fee for both
events and for reservations
