The Jewish Home for Aged
will present its annual volun-
teer and board auxiliary
recognition party at 6:30 p.m.
Sunday at the Fleischman Re-
sidence in West Bloomfield.
The staff of the home will ac-
knowledge and thank more
than 200 volunteers and auxil-
iary board for their work.
The by-invitation-only pro-
gram will bear the theme "The
Greatest Show on Earth." A
barbecue and entertainment
will be followed by an original
musical, "Circus For the
Stars," written, directed and
starring the staff of the home.
Paul Borman, president of
the board of directors of the
home; Charles Wolfe, execu-
tive vice president; and Diane
Scholnick, president of the
auxiliary, will greet the audi-

Toronto Singles
Plan Activities
Metro Toronto Jewish Sing-
les will have an inter-city
Jewish singles party at 8 p.m.
Aug. 24 at the Bayview Golf
and Country Club in Toronto.
Jewish singles from Detroit,
Buffalo, Montreal and Toronto
have been invited. The party is
for Jewish singles age 23-42.
From Detroit, take Highway
401 to Toronto, exiting at Les-
lie Street North. Go north on
Leslie Street about four miles
to Steeles Ave. Go west one
block on Steeles to the country
club.
The group will sponsor a
Jewish singles weekend Sept:
5-7 at Clevelands House Re-
sort, 100 mites north of To-
ronto. Cost of the weekend in-

Lyons will speak on his experi-
ences on a fact-finding mission
that he and seven other minis-
ters made to Austria after the
recent election of Austrian'
President Kurt Waldheim.
Rev. Lyons founded the
Ecumenical Institute for
Jewish-Christian Studies in
1982 and is its executive direc-
tor.
