day shindig . . . where daugh-
ter and son-in-law Joan and
Paul Friel live.

bicki, youngest person to retire

Weston, Kelly Burgess, Jerry

others.
Mickey's gifts ranged from
bottles of champagne to a box
of cigars, an Eastern Onion
"show," clothing, etc.
Mary Stanek doesn't have a
little lamb but she sure has a
lot of family and friends who
love her very much.

recently . . . not to say how mad
he was . . . Michael finally
turned 21 and went to buy
something which required the
legal age . . . Danged if they
didn't even ask him for some
i.d. (identification).

Sundance . . . and lunch at
Stage & Co.
THANKS ... to Michele
Deacon . . . for the coffee at vic-
tory party of Judge Jessica
Cooper, a runaway primary
winner for Oakland County
Circuit Court . . . If she wins in
November, which hardly
seems unlikely with all the
fabulous endorsements and
backing, Jessica will become
the fourth Jewish person
among 17 circuit justices .. .
and one of three Jewish woman
black robers . . . joining Hilda
Gage and Alice Gilbert.
Judge Susan Moiseev win-
ning her nomination to retain
seat on 46th District Court, so
charming and gracious . . . At

uder . . . She had been ap-
pointed by Governor Blan-
chard to fill Judge Norman
Feder's place when he passed
on.
Steve Cooper, winning one
nomination for vacant seat
with retirement of Judge Clar-
ence Reid, was a far-out front
