Mission Hills, Calif., and
Mrs. Lillian Litwin of Sher-

Detroit, died Aug. 17. Sur-
vived by a son, S. David Nis-
sen; a daughter, Mrs.
Maurice (Anna) Noble; a sis-

Aug. 16. He leaves three

Dr. Nathan Starman, a de-
ntist with offices on Grand
River Ave. in Detroit for 46
years, died Aug. 13 at age 77.
Born in Utica, N.Y., Dr.
Starman was a resident of
Southfield at the time of his
death. He was graduated
from Wayne State University
and the University of Detroit
Dental School.
Dr. Starman was a member
of Alpha Omega Dental
Fraternity, the American and
Michigan Dental Associations
and the Detroit District Den-
tal Society.
He also held membership
in Pisgah Lodge of B'nai
B'rith, Joseph Bale Post of
Jewish War Veterans, Adat
Shalom Synagogue and the
Downtown Synagogue, Cres-
cent Shrine Club and the
Moslem Shrine Club. He was
a past master of Mosaic
Lodge of the Masons.
He leaves his wife, Mollie;
a son, Sheldon of Naples,
Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Alan
(Sandy) Croll of Beverly
Hills, Calif.; two brothers, Dr.
Joseph and Dr. Jack; a sister,
Mrs. Sidney (Ruth) Siegan
and five grandchildren.
