The Orleys have been
Campaign vice chairmen the
past two years. Graham is a
former chairman of the Cam-
paign Real Estate and Build-
ing Trades Division and was
pre-Campaign chairman for
several years. He is vice
president of United Jewish
Charities and a board
member of the Max M. Fisher
Jewish Community Founda-
tion.
Joseph Orley has served on
Federation's Collection Re-
view Committee and has
chaired the Campaign's
Industrial and Automotive
Division. A former pre-
Campaign vice chairman, he
is a member of Federation's
Board of Governors, and sits
on the Capital Needs Di-
vision and the board of
Jewish Federation Apart-
ments.
A leader of the Industrial
and Automotive Division for
several Campaigns, Rechter
has served as the division's
chairman and pre-Campaign
chairman. He serves on the
DSG board.
Former chairman of the
Tamarack Hills Authority,
Burton served as a pre-
Campaign associate chairman
in 1981 and was chairman of
the Real Estate and Building
Trades Division. A member of
Federation's Board of Gover-
nors, he is also a member of
the Capital Needs Division.
He sits on the boards of the
Detroit Service Group and
the Jewish Home for Aged.
Frank is a former Cam-
paign vice chairman and
pre-Campaign chairman. He
is a member of Federation's
Board of Governors and is on
the boards of DSG and
Jewish Home for Aged.
Active in the Mercantile
Division for several years,
Bernard Klein served as its
chairman in 1984. He is a
member of the Culture and
Education Division and . sits
on Federation's Board of
Governors, as well as the
board of the Holocaust
Memorial Center.

In Michigan Are Cited
Fred S. Lafer, president of
American Friends of the He-
brew University, was in De-
troit recently to induct 13 new
Founders in to the Michigan
Chapter. Each of the new
Founders received a plaque
designed by Lee Bliefeld.
The new founders included
Barton Berman, W. Brod
Doner, Phillip Fisher, Harvey
Grace, Irwin Green, John
Haddow, David Mondry,
Michael Pelavin, Hughes
Potiker, Scott Seligman,
Barry Yaker, Robert Zell and
Seymour Ziegelman.
Four founders who received
special recognition were
Harold Berry, David Herme-
lin, Joseph Jackier and Erwin
Ziegelman.
