The Jewish Community Center
will be the site of the Master and
Senior Maccabi and Wellness
Fair, scheduled for Sept.28.
The Maccabi, co-sponsored by
Sinai Hospital and Perry Drugs,
is intended for Jewish adults,
ages 50 and older, who wish to
compete in swimming, maj-jong,
table tennis, Pan, Duplicate
Bridge, track and field, racquet-
ball, backgammon, tennis, Tri-
vial Pursuit, squash, chess, vol-
leyball, and basketball free
throw. In addition there will be a
Wellness Fair with various
booths and demonstrations in the
areas of health and fitness. Co-
chairing the event will be Joyce
Weckstein and Marshall
Loewenstein.

Yiddish Fest
In Ann Arbor

The Workmen's Circle's Sum-
mer Yiddish Festival is sponsor-
ing two programs this week in
Ann Arbor.
An "Evening of Yiddish Folk
Music" will be presented at 8 p.m.
Monday at the Michigan Union
ballroom.
The Yiddish film, Yidl mit un
Fidl will be shown at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday in room 2402 Mason
Hall on the U-M campus.
There is a fee for each program.

Patt recently signed an agree-
ment establishing a German-
Israeli foundation for scientific
research and development.
