Krohner Running
For Circuit Court

Martin Krohner

Martin Krohner, a Farmington
Hills attorney, is a -candidate for
Oakland County Circuit Court
judge. He has served as assistant
Wayne County prosecutor for 13
years. He is a co-founder of and
legal advisor to the Michigan
Mothers Against Drunk Driving
(MADD) organization, as well as
the founder and former president
of the Oakland County MADD
chapter.
Krohner's experience includes
serving as staff attorney for
Michigan Consolidated Gas Co.,
family law attorney for the Oak-
land County Legal Aid Society,
and clerk to Oakland Probate
Judge Eugene Arthur Moore.
He is a member of the Na-
tional, State and Country Bar
Associations, where he has
served on committees concerned
with criminal law, juvenile prob-
lems and spouse abuse.

Temple Offers
Special Classes

Temple Beth El's classes for
exceptional students will be offer-
ing Jewish children with dis-
abilities the opportunity to iden-
tify with their religion in a posit-
ive, accepting atmosphere.
The program will accept stu-
dents from the age of 4 and will
have three classrooms this year:
primary, upper elementary and
high school, as well as individual
tutoring. Classes will be held on
Saturdays from 9:30 to 11:45 a.m.
There is a fee. For inforniation,

Forty Jewish and non-Jewish
public school teachers from 12
states are currently in Israel to
study the Holocaust and Jewish
resistance to the Nazis and, on
their return to the United States,
teach it to their junior high and
high school students.
The teachers are spending
three weeks in Israel. John
