Cantor Chaim Najman

Cantor Chaim Najman wil be
installed as the newly elected
president of the Detroit Cantors
Council, 6:30 p.m. Aug. 18, at an
installation dinner and musical
program at Cong. Shaarey Zedek.
Other officers to be installed
are: Cantor Max Shimansky, vice
president; Cantor Norman Rose,
treasurer; and Cantor Sidney Re-
snick, secretary.
The dinner and program are
open to the public. Reservations

B'nai Israel Picnic

Cong. B'nai Israel of West
Bloomfield will hold its annual
congregational picnic 11 a.m.,
