Louise M. Bittker, J.D.

Lyndon LaRouche

63-year old radical-turned-
reactionary. "His grand design is
Hitlerism, but reworked to ap-
peal to Americans in the 1980s.
"The press has got to find the
guts to go after that and not be
so afraid of libel," he said.
Arguing that words such as
"ultraconservative" and "ex-
tremist" are inadequate to
describe LaRouche's viciously
anti-Semitic platform, he added,
"You really do have to name the
beast."
King said that his own study
of LaRouche's writings found
them to contain "brilliant"
reconstructions of Adolf Hitler's
theory of race and genetics, his
doctrine of warfare and his
theory of politics leading to a
classic fascist dictatorship. "It's
all there — every element of
Hitler's program," he said.
According to the LaRouche
ideology, most of the world's ma-
jor problems can be blamed on
the Jews. Under this theory, said
King, the world can be divided
into "them versus us." Through
semantic distortion, LaRouche
has managed to convince his
followers that Jewish leaders are
in league with the Nazis. His
articles refer repeatedly to "the
Nazi-Jewish lobby."

LaRouche's program, King
said, is geared toward mobilizing
the economy to go to war
against both the "Red Menace"
and an imaginary network link-
ing the Rothschild family, the
queen of England and the State
of Israel. Once this "total war-
fare" succeeds, LaRouche would
set up a classic fascist dictator-
ship, along the lines of Ger-
many's National Socialist
government under Hitler, he
said.

"The scariest part of La-
rouche's writing," said King, is
his criticism of Hitler's economic
programs and his two-front war
strategy. His work basically
points to where Hitler went
wrong and floats new strategies
