After removing its supervision and sign of certification July 17, the rabbis announced that they will con- tinue to seek "a proper resolution in the appropriate arena" based on the claimed discovery by its inspector (mashgiach) of non-kosher meat in the store as well as the previously un- disclosed findings of a private inves- tigator. One incumbent with a LaRouche opponent is Sander Levin, U.S. repre- sentative for the 17th District. "We're taking no chances and are campaigning actively throughout the district," Levin said of his campaign strategy. No one in the district likes extremists." "My opponent . . . is a follower of Lyndon LaRouche, a peddler of fear and hate," one Levin campaign flyer reads.
