'Kate Keidan

Kate Keidan, former chief de-
puty county clerk for Wayne
County, died July 18 at age 87.
Born in Poland, Mrs. Keidan
served in the Wayne County post •
from 1947 until 1962. She was
named one of Detroit's outstand-
ing working women in 1958 by
Detroit Skyliner Magazine. She
was married to Circuit Judge
Harry B. Keiden, who died in
1943.
Mrs. Keidan was a member of
Cong. Shaarey Zedek, Hadassah,
ORT and the National Council of
Jewish Women.
She leaves a son, Fred Keiden;
a daughter, Mrs. Milton (Vivian)
Berry; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy
Sims; and five grandchildren.

Arnold Rosman

Arnold Rosman, founder and
-,wner of Arnold Cleaners, died
1 July 18 at age 70.
Born in Detroit, Mr. Rosman
was a member of Temple Beth El
and active with the Allied Jewish
Campaign. He was past president
of the Dry Cleaning and Laundry
Institute of Detroit, as well as its
;executive director for many
years. He, obbied state lawmak-
ers to reduce taxes on small
businesses.
Mr. Rosman leaves his wife
June; two sons, Steven and
William; a sister, Mrs. Meyer
(Gloria) Ellis; and two
grandchildren.

years, died July 21 at age 75.
Born in Detroit, Mr. Sukenic

United Lumber. He was most re-
cently the founder an president of
Morris Sukenic and Sons.
Mr. Sukenic was one of the
Founding members of Adat
Slalom Synagogue and an hon-
rary trustee for over 25 years,
past president of City of Hope
( usinessmen's club, Perfection
odge and Oakland Century
Lodge of the B'nai B'rith.
He leaves his wife, Eva; two
ons, Lawrence R. and Gerald J.;
three brothers, Bernard, Sam and
Norman; four sisters, Mrs. Min-
ie Sosin, Mrs. Leonard (Vivian)
,ealk, Rose Sukenic and Fannie
3ukenic; and five grandchildren.
