Kienzle will speak on "The
Celibate Sleuth." Kienzle, a na-
tive Detroiter and a former `,
Roman Catholic priest, is the
author of The Rosary Murders,
Sudden Death and Deathbed.

Women Tapped
By Naamat

Greater Detroit Council,
Naamat USA (formerly Pioneer
Women/Naamat) has selected
the recipients of its 1986 Cele-
bration of Women Award.
Chosen from the nomination
forms" submitted by social serv-
ice agencies in the counties of
Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and
Washtenaw, the recipients are
being honored "for their out-
standing service to women and
children in their communities."
Anna Weiner of Huntington
Woods was nominated by the
Oakland Family Service,.
Parent/Infant Growth Program.
A former kindergarten teacher,
Mrs. Weiner developed and im-
plemented pre-kindergarten and
Head Start programs at Burns
Elementary School in Detroit.
She has won program awards
for most volunteer parents for
city of Detroit in the Head Start
program; parent enrichment
cognitive stimulation seminars
for parents of young children,
and has been awarded certifi-
cates and plaques commending
her work from the state of
Michigan.
Dr. Helene Mills is the princi-
pal of Derby Middle School in
the Birmingham Public Schools
and was nominated by the

schools. In addition to her con-
tributions resulting from her
