Appointee

Arlene Potashner has been
appointed assistant to the
executive director of the
Windsor Jewish Community
Centre.
Mrs. Potashner is the agency's
former program director and
camp director.
Mrs. Potashner is a native of
Toronto. She received her
Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of
Education degrees from the
University of Toronto. She re-
ceived her master's degree in
special education from the Uni-
versity of Windsor.

U.S. Teachers
Study Abroad

New York (JTA) — .Thirty-
Aine Jewish and non-Jewish
public School teachers from 12
states are flying to Israel for
three weeks to study the
Holocaust and Jewish resistance
to the Nazis and, on their return
home, to teach it to their junior
high and high school students.
