The city of Oak Park will pre-
sent The Austin-Moro Jazz Band
in concert at 7:30 p.m. this
Tuesday.
The concert is free and will
take place in Shepherd Park, lo-
cated at Church and Northfield.
In the event of rain, the per-
formance will be held in the
Oak Park High School Au-
ditorium.

Sculptor Exhibits
In Southfield

The Southfield Cultural Arts
Division will feature an exhibi-
tion of • painting and sculpture
by Cecilia Reiner Wednesday -
July 31 in the Southfield Civic
Center Gallery in the lobby of
the Parks and Recreation Build-
ing. Hours for the exhibit are
from 9 a.m. to 9 . p.m. Monday
through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5
p.m. on Saturday.

Symphony Presents
Czech. Music

The Detroit Symphony's Fes-
tival of Nations continues at
Meadow Brook with the music
of Czechoslovakia and its most
prominent composer, Antonin
Dvorak. Guest conductor Jiri
Belohlavek leads, the orchestra
in two concerts with violinist
Ernst Kovacic on Thursday, and
pianist Rudolf Firkusny on July
20, both at 8 p.m.

Six members of the Larimie
Musical Production Company
will present an evening of favo-

and Nelson Eddy duet favorites.
