JVS Honors Perry Drugs Perry Drug Stores, Inc., re- ceived the Employer of the Year Award at the JVS' annual meet- ing. The drug store chain received the award "for outstanding coop- eration in providing employment opportunities for unemployed workers." In addition, Lear Siegler, Inc., General Seating Division, was honored as Contractor of the Year, "for outstanding coopera- tion in the advancement of a re- habilitation program for voca- tionally handicapped workers." In addition to his Federation ac- tivities, Klein is a board member of the Holocaust Memorial Center and the treasurer of Detroit Men's ORT. Yad Vashem Seeks Names To assist Yad Vashem (the Is- rael Remembrance Authority) in its latest effort to update records of Holocaust victims, the Jewish Community Council, Children of Holocaust-Survivors Association in Michigan and the Albert Eins- tein Lodge No. 2070 of B'nai B'rith have joined together to seek names of those previously un- documented. The cooperating organizations will be disturbing a "Page of Tes- timony" created by Yad Vashem for the purpose of recording the names and pertinent information about those who perished in the holocaust. Individuals wishing to receive the 'form are requested to call the Jewish Community Council office, 962-1880, or write the council at 163 Madison Ave- nue, Detroit, MI 48226.
