Reifman-Whiteman
JoAnne Whiteman and Barry
L. Reifman were married recently
in Phoenix, Ariz. Rabbi Gerald
Weiss of Cong. Beth Shalom,
Columbia, S. C., officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Fredell Whiteman of Southfield
and the late Mr. Bernard White-
man. Parents of the bridegroom
are Irving Reifman, of Murrietta
Hot Springs, Calif., and the late
Rose Reifman.
Lynda Ellis of Farmington
Hills was matron of honor, and
Bonnie Levine of Phoenix was
best man.
Ushers were David Whiteman
of North Hollywood, Calif., and
Kenneth Whiteman of Southfield,
brothers of the bride; Kenneth
Reifman of San Diego, Calif.,
brother of the bridegroom, and
Jeffrey Schneider of Phoenix.
Flower girls were Stacy and
Shoshanna Reifman, daughters of
the bridegroom.
Following a honeymoon in
Hawaii, the couple is residing in
Phoenix, where the bride is a
court reporter in the Maricopa
County Superior Court, and the
bridegroom is self-employed as a
financial planner.

Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Katzman of
Oak Park are happy to announce
the marriage of their son, Michael
Stephen Katzman, to Sheryl Bar-
bara Seidman, daughter of Abe
and Marylin Seidman of Wal-
lingford, Pa.
The newlyweds will be relocat-
ing from Santa Cruz, Calif., to
Redbank, N.J., where Michael
will assume the position of assis-
tant production manager for AT &
T Information Systems and
Sheryl will resume her ac-
cupuncture practice.

Mr. and Mrs. David (Elizabeth)
Wachler celebrated their 65th
wedding anniversary June 18.
They were married in Germany in
1921.
In 1922, the Wachlers moved to
Detroit.
A jewelry designer, Wachler
founded the jewelry designing
firm of David Wachler and Sons.
He has since retired.
The Wachlers now live in North
Miami Beach, Fla.; but every year
they driv e back to the Detroit area
to spend the summers with their'
family.
