for many years. Rose served as
president of the Detroit Chapter
and as president of the Michigan
Region of Hadassah and on the
national board of Hadassah in
New York. She also was a
member of the board of the
Women's Division of the Jewish
Welfare Federation and other
community services.
Dave spent 45 years with Hyg-
rade Food Products Corp. serving
as senior vice president. He re-
presented Hygrade in all com-
munity affairs.
The Schachters are members of
Knollwood Country Club. They
will spend the summer in Detroit.

Former DetrOiters Rose and
David Schachter of Florida were
honored June 6 by their children
with a black tie dinner party at
Knollwood Country Club on the
occasion of their 50th wedding
anniversary.
Their children are: Randy and
Jeff Kopelman, Rhea and Rick
Sweet and Arline and Allan Rein.
The Schachters have seven
grandchildren: Lisa and Rachel
Kopelman; Andy, Eric and Jen-
nifer Sweet; and Howard and
Cheryl Luckoff.
Friends and relatives from
across the U.S. were on hand to
help the couple celebrate.

Ann and Al Ozrovitz, formerly
of Oak Park, now residing in
Boca Raton, Fla., will celebrate
their 60th wedding anniversary
today.
They will be honored by their
children Adell and Herman Oz-
rovitz of Southfield, and Marlene
and Philip Ozrovitz of Southfield
at a dinner party, when they visit
Southfield in July.
Also attending will be their

grandchildren, Marsha and Her-
shel Cohen; Janice and Richard
Kay; Sharon and Bruce Ozrovitz;
Aaron, Steven and Kevin. Oz-
rovitz; and three great-
grandchildren, Lesli and Bryan
Cohen, and Adam Kay.
The Ozrovitzes were married at
the Bancroft synagogue in To-
ledo, Ohio, in 1926. They moved
to Detroit in 1936 and retired to
Florida in 1972.
