Mrs. Hermelin sits on the
boards of Federation's Women's
Division and the Jewish Family
Service, and is a former member
of the United Hebrew Schools
board.
A recipient of the United
Foundation's Heart of Gold
award in recognition of her vol-
unteer activities, Mrs. Hermelin
has also received the B'nai B'rith
Woman of the Year award and
the Woman of Valor award from
the State of Israel Bonds.










She is a sisterhood officer at
Cong. Shaarey Zedek, and a
board member of B'nai B'rith
Women, Hadassah, Hillel Day
School and the Women's Division
of Israel Bonds.

Mrs. Hermelin is a national
vice chairman of Israel Bonds
and former vice president of the
National Council of Jewish
Women. She has served as
chairman of the Orchards Chil-
dren's Services and is a board
member of Kadima, a residential
program for adults in need of
emotional support.

American ORT, will celebrate the
silver anniversary of its souvenir
ad calendar at its honor roll in-
stallation luncheon on Wednes-
day at Temple Beth El. Luncheon
will be served at 11:45 a.m.
Reservations are required. Call
the ORT office, 355-9151, for
reservations. Highlighting the
afternoon will be newswoman
Dayna Eubanks, speaking on
"Can We Have It All?"
The invocation will be given by
Susan Dubin, past Michigan
Region president. Marsha
Friedman, president of District
VII, will be the installing officer.
She will install Ruth Rosenfeld,
region president; Lois Sandberg,
chairman of the executive com-
mittee; Joanne Denn, Denise
Diskin, Mary Lee Fishman, Bar-
bara Kroll, Maxine Rotenberg
and Yetta Wolf, vice presidents;
Dorothy Rubin, honorary vice
president; Paula Glazier, trea-
surer; Phyllis Dubrinsky, finan-
cial secretary; Gertrude Brainin,
recording secretary; Betty Wax-
man, corresponding secretary;
and Pauline Schreiber, par-
liamentarian.
Section Coordinators to be in-
