Shabbat luncheon held in their
honor at Young Israel of Oak-
Woods on June 21.
Rabbi and Mrs. Gordon will be
in the Detroit area from June
16-23 on their first trip to the
United States since having made
aliyah a year ago.
Rabbi Gordon, rabbi emeritus
of Oak-Woods, will install the
congregation's newly elected offi-
cers and board members.
There is a charge for the lunch-
eon, and because it is taking
place on Shabbat, pre-paid reser-

tion brunch at 11:30 a.m. June 29
in the synagogue.

cation vice president and Michael
Donenfeld, ways and means vice
president; Belmont Kershen-
baum, treasurer; Philip Jacobs,
finance secretary; and Arnold
Finkelstein, secretary.
Rabbi Sherman P. Kirshner
will be the installing officer.
Morris Bletstein and Kershen-
baum, the congregation's daily
gabbaim, will be honored at the
brunch.
