Dr. Dan. Guyer
Dr. Dan Guyer was installed
Tuesday as president of Hillel
Day School' of Metropolitan De-
troit at the school's board meet-
ing. Dr. Guyer has served on
Hillel's board since 1980, served
as vice president from 1982 to
1986.
Dr. Guyer has been the asso-
ciate chairman of the Culture
and Education Committee of the
Jewish Welfare Federation since
1984. He also serves on the Fed-
eration's Israel Overseas Com-
mittee, Project Renewal Com-
mittee and Missions Committee.
From 1984 to 1986, he served
as co-chairman of the Medical
Physicians Section of the Allied
Jewish Campaign during the
1986 Campaign. He was a
member of the United Jewish
Appeal Young Leadership
Cabinet from 1980 to 1985, and
has served on the UJA National
Campaign Cabinet.
He also served as UJA area
chairman from 1982 to 1983 and
Judaica chairman from 1983 to
1985. Dr. Guyer recently joined
the board of Adat Shalom
Synagogue in Farmington Hills,
of which he is a member. He
served as board member of the
United Hebrew Schools from
1981 to 1985.,
