Date Approaches

The B'nai B'rith Golf Classic
, IV will be held at Tam-0-
' Shanter Country Club on June
23.
Ralph Miller will serve as the
• chairman of the day-long event
which raises funds for the B'nai
B'rith Youth and Service pro-
grams in Michigan. As in the
past, these proceeds will go di-
rectly to the Hillel Foundations
at Wayne State University, the
University of Michigan, Michi-
gan State University and the
Hillel Counselorship at Western
Michigan University. The local
B'nai B'rith Youth Organization
also is a recipient.
Open to all, the B'nai B'rith
/' Golf Classic will accommodate
only registered players. Tee-off
• time is at 12:30 p.m. with a
shot-gun start. Each golf ticket
entitles the participant to: valet
parking, all of the country club
facilities, range balls, eighteen
holes of golf preceeded by a buf-
fet luncheon, and a cocktail re-
ception and banquet in the eve-
ning. Dick Purtan will serve as
the master of ceremonies for the
dinner.
The committee chairmen are:
Chip Iceberg and Douglas
Schubot, auctioneers; David L.
Sklar and Leo P. Sklar, awards;
Gary Cochran and Jack Coc-
hran, banquet; Marty Feldman,
corporate sponsor; Joe Ginsberg,

Wygant, entertainment; Jack
Cochran, Fritz Fridson, Jim
Golden, Terry Grosslight and
Basil Tilben, general chairmen;
Sheldon Girsh, Schubot and Irv-
