Named At Temple

Harold Fried was elected
president of the Birmingham
Temple for the 1986-1987 pro-
gram year.
Elected to the executive board
with him were: Mark Cousens,
first vice president; Harvey
Brode, second vice president;
Joseph Gadon, treasurer; and
Sharon Klein, secretary.
Serving on the board of trus-
tees for a two-year term are
John Gardon, Barbara Gross,
Elaine Kamienny, Eli Master,
Robert Phillips, Robert Roether,
Skip Siegel and Josette Silver.
Manny Sulkes will serve on the
board for a one-year term.
Robert Sandler is the immediate
past president.

Temple Plans Forum,
Talk With Rabbi

The Birmingham Temple will
have another program in its
Monday Forum series at 8:30
p.m. Monday at the temple.
Rabbi Sherwin Wine will re-
view Conflicts and Contradic-
tions by Meron Benvenisti. The
public is invited at a charge.
The temple also will have an
evening with the rabbi at 8:30
p.m. Wednesday in the temple
library. The philosophy and pro-
grams of Humanistic Judaism
will be discussed.
All are welcome. Admission is
free, but reservations are re-
quired. For reservations, call the
temple, 477-1410.
