84, of Detroit, died May 19.
Survived by a sister, Mrs. Anna
Wohl of Milwaukee, Wis.; nieces
and nephews.

MILTON J. ELSON, 69,
former Detroiter of Florida, died
May 18. He leaves his wife,
Marguerite; a daughter, Mrs.
Allan (Wendy) Solomon of
Saginaw; a brother, Harold; and
two grandchildren. Interment
Detroit.

INEZ C. GOLD, 50, of Oak
Park, died May 15. Survived by
her husband, Simon; a son,
Charles; and two daughters,
Lynnda and Stephanie.

LOUIS GORDON, 91, died
May 19. He leaves his wife,
Eleanor; a son, Myron H. of
Florida; a daughter, Mrs. Ar-
thur (Marcia) Fligman; a sister,
Hannah Rogers of New York;
eight grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.

FRIEDA HURTIG, 62, of
Southfield, died May 19. Sur-
vived by her husband, John; a
daughter, Mrs. Lisa Obrowski of
Los Angeles, Calif.; two
brothers, Salo Silberstein and
Natan Silberstein of Israel.

FRANCES PAM JACKSON,
72, died May 18. She leaves two
daughters, Mrs. Morris (Janet)
Pearl of Windsor and Mrs. Ben-
jamin (Sharon) Tapper; a
brother, Benjamin Pam; three
sisters, Mrs. Ida Pierson, Mrs.
Lillian Anderson and Rose Pam;
seven grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.

FRANCES LEVINSON, 82, of
West Palm Beach, Fla., died
May 16. Survived by a son,
Donald Traute of Oak Park; two
sisters, Rose Brill of Utica, N.Y.,
and Mrs. Esther Crade of New
Hartford, N.Y.; and three
grandchildren.

MARSHALL LOVINGER, 43,
died May 18. He leaves a sister,
Eunice of California; and a
brother, Allan.

NATHALIE ROSENMAN, 75,
died April 21. She leaves a
brother, Sol; three sisters, Mrs.
Marian Rothstein and Mrs.
Edna Rice and Mrs. Rhoda Ro-
senthal, both of Lauderhill, Fla.

YETTA ROSNER, 66, of Oak
Park, died May 18. Survived by
a brother, Jack; nieces and
nephews.

ELIZABETH RUSKIN, 90,
former Detroiter of Canoga
Park, Calif., died May 16. Sur-
vived by a son, Allen of North
Hollywood, Calif.; a daughter,
Mrs. Beatrice Hearshen of
Southfield; five grandchildren
and eight great-grandchildren.

died May 16. Survived by his
wife, Minnie; four daughters,

nine) Davidson; a brother,
Charles of Montreal; and three
grandchildren.

SOL SEDMAN, 75, .died May
17. He leaves his wife, Frances;
a son, Myron; three daughters,
Sharon Hoff, Mrs. Michael
(Joyce) Dresch and Robin of San
Francisco; a brother, Louis
Seidman; and five
grandchildren.

IRENE GOLDMAN STERN,
76, of Southfield, died May 17.
Survived by a son, Louis; and
four grandchildren.

JENNIE SWITZEN, 97, died
May 14. She leaves a son,
William; a sister, Gertrude of
New York; two grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren.
Interment New York.

CARL DAVID WEINSTEIN,
37, former Detroiter of Califor-
nia, died May 14. He leaves his
mother, Yetta Pomerantz and
Edwin Weinstein; and a sister,
Mrs. John (Joyce) Begnoche.

Benjamin Gould

Benjamin Gould, owner and
founder of Ben's Uniforms in
Detroit, died May 15 at age 89.
Born in Russia, Mr. Gould
came to Detroit 74 years ago.
He was known as the "Mayor of
Livernois." Among the com-
panies and agencies he supplied
were Chrysler Corp., Detroit
Police Department, Detroit Fire
Department and the United
States Postal Service.
Mr. Gould was a 32nd degree
Mason and a member of Cres-
cent Shrine and Perfection
Lodge. He was a 50-year
member of Cong. Shaarey Zedek
and belonged to the Zionist
Organization of America.
He is survived by a daughter,
Mrs. Joan Colburn of Los.
Angeles, Calif.; three brothers,
Irving, Litman and Morris;
three grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.

Harry Chinsky

Harry Chinsky, who was in
the retail produce business, died
May 16 at age 96.
A resident of Windsor, Mr.
Chinsky was the recording sec-
retary for the Pinsker Progress-
ive Aid Society, a member of
Cong. Shaar Hashomayim and
Cong. Shaarey Zedek of
Windsor.
He leaves a son, Edward of
Florida; two daughters, Mrs.
Sidney (Leah) Nickin of Florida
and Mrs. Manny (Rae) Moorin;
seven grandchildren and 13
great-grandchildren.
