A post b'nai mitzvah class —
the Institute for Higher Jewish
Studies — will begin this fall at
Cong. B'nai Israel of West
Bloomfield.
It will include Jewish law,
lore, the Jewish life cycle, cus-
toms, rituals and the study of
Mishnah.
In addition, Rabbi Sherman
Kirshner will continue teaching
and guiding the young people in
synagogue skills, enabling them_
to serve as junior cantors and
Torah readers.
