TER, Brandeis University Na-
tional Women's Committee, will
hold its annual spring installa-
tion luncheon on Wednesday at
noon at Temple Beth El.
Guest speaker will be Dr. Cas-
sandra M. Klyman,
psychoanalyst and assistant pro-
fessor of Psychiatry at Wayne
State University. Dr. Klyman
will review Carol Gilligan's book
In a Different Voice.
Brandeis University Womens
Committee (Florence Finkels-
tein, president) helps to support
Brandeis University libraries.
Sylvia Heideman chairman for
the day is assisted by Mollie Sal-
len, Kathryn Scheuer and Evelyn
Shapero.

The Sisterhood of Adat Shalom
Synagogue will hold its annual
donor event on May 27 at the
synagogue. Doors for the
boutiques open at 10 a.m.
Luncheon will be served at
12:30 p.m. and will be reserved
seating only. Donor tickets can be
purchased by calling the
synagogue office, 851-5100 by
Tuesday. Author Sondra Gotleib
will speak at the luncheon.
Mrs. Gotlieb's column, "Dear
Beverly," has appeared in the
Washington Post and Canadian
newspapers with anecdotes on
life in Washington since her hus-
band became Canadian Ambas-
sador to the United States.
A novelist, whose latest book,
A Woman of Consequence, has
won acclaim for its observations
on the world of international dip-
lomacy, Mrs. Gotlieb began her
writing career as the co-editor of
a guide to restaurants in Canada.
Her autobiographical novel, True
Confections, was published in
1978.
Mrs. 'Gotlieb was a frequent
contributor to newspapers and
magazines in the U.S. and
Canada with articles on women
in politics, fat farms, travel,
wines, the status consciousness of
Washington and other subjects.
