Lecture for Seniors
At Morris Branch

The senior adult department of
the Jewish Community Center
will have a program in its Sinai
Lecture Series at 1 p.m. Tuesday
in the assembly hall of the
Jimmy Prentis Morris Branch.
Bonnie Garfinkel, recreation
therapist at Sinai's department of
psychiatry, will speak on "A Pos-
itive Step — Leisure Counseling:
What to Do in Your Spare time."
The Tuesday movie series will
feature Days to Remember and A
Dream Demands Struggle at 2
p.m. Tuesday in the JPM assem-
bly hall.
Frankie Paul will entertain at
the Erev Shabbos program at
12:30 p.m. May 23 at the JPM
branch's Jaffe Hall. At 1:15 p.m.,
Edward Rosenthal, executive di-
rector of the Jewish National
Fund of Detroit, will show an Is-
raeli film and lead a discussion.
On May 25, the JPM assembly
hall will be the scene of a movie
afternoon, beginning at 2 p.m.

Senior Adult
Program Expands

The senior adult department of
the Jewish Community Center is
taking its program out into the
community to benefit senior
adults who have trouble getting
transportation to Center pro-
grams.
The pilot program, for seniors
age 55 and up, will be targeted
along 12 Mile Road in Southfield,
between Lahser and Northwest-
ern Hwy. For information, call

Frances Weinberg will review
The Seventh Secret by Irving
Wallace at 1 p.m. Wednesday in
the Henry and Delia Meyers
Memorial Library at the main
